October Surprise: Iran Launches Massive Missile Strike Against Israel. Footage Shows Legions of Iranian Missiles Exploding and Bypassing Air Defense. Claims of Damage to IDF's Nevatim Air Base.
Stocks fall and oil prices rise as Israel threatens harsh response and the largest US port workers union goes on strike. NPR confirms at least 30 Iranian missiles landed near Nevatim Air Base.
On October 1, 2024 Iran launched an attack on Israel, firing waves of missiles into the heart of Israel. The Iranian attack occurs after Israel conducted nearly two weeks of attacks targeting Hezbollah. On September 17th and 18th, Israel used sabotaged electronics to ignite deadly explosions in Lebanon (wounding thousands). Israel then conducted missile strikes in Beirut (killing at least 700 Lebanese) days later and then announced it would invade of Southern Lebanon in a “limited incursion” to ensure Israelis can re-inhabit northern Israel.
Slavyangrad reports that the “Israeli Nevatim Air Base” was “destroyed by Iranian Missile Strike,” with the clip below showing hits over Israeli territory and the tail of an Iranian missile at the Nevatim Air Base. Nevatim Air Base is the largest and most critical air base for the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and plays an essential role in Israel's bombing campaigns and houses fleets of IDF fighter jets.

“Satellite images published released by the international news agency Associated Press (AP) on Thursday revealed the damage caused by Iran's ballistic missile attack on the IDF’s Nevatim air base near Be'er Sheva.
The images, taken on Wednesday, show a large hole in the roof of a hangar near the base’s main runway. Debris from the roof is also scattered around the structure. AP noted the IDF has not clarified what caused the damage seen in the images:
In addition to the satellite photos, a CNN analysis claimed that missiles launched from Iran struck the Mossad headquarters or near it, as well as Nevatim and the Tel Nof air bases.
The IDF confirmed damages were caused to buildings at the bases but stressed that there were no casualties and no aircraft were hit. The attack didn’t affect the Israeli Air Force's operational integrity, as missions could be launched immediately after the assault.”

Thanks, Historic videos!.
Those rockets don't look like the "glorified Hamas firework rocket" and if a score or so of Israeli F35's have been destroyed as well as the top airbase, evidently a game changer.
