Suspects used PayPal, Facebook, and the USPS to advertise and sell illegally obtained human remains.
On June 14, 2023, the Department of Justice announced the arrest of six individuals, including the morgue manager of Harvard Medical School (Cedric Lodge) for their role in illegal human remains sales:

Jeremy Pauley
According to the New York Post, Jeremy Pauley, one of the suspects arrested by the Department of Justice in June 2023, was previously charged with crimes related to the sale of human remains in 2022.
Pauley was arrested after police received a ripe on June 14th, 2022 (which is the same date of the DOJ indictment naming Pauley and 5 others as defendants in a case involving the illegal sale of human remains):

Katrina Mclean
Katrina Mclean, another defendant named in the June 14th, 2023 DOJ Press Release, operates a macabre store called Kat’s Creepy Creations. Mclean is alleged to have sold human remains acquired from Cedric Lodges, the manager of the Harvard Medical School morgue.
The Instagram posts for Kat's Creepy Creations and their associated pages include hashtags like Zombie Jesus, devil, down with demons, possessed, and evil. They sell and feature items that are blasphemous and overtly Satanic and demonic:
Cedric Lodges
Lodges reportedly worked as the morgue manager for Harvard Medical School for nearly 30 years. According to WBUR:
“The indictment alleges that starting in 2018, Cedric Lodge began taking body parts that had been donated for medical research and bringing them to his home in New Hampshire. From there, they sold the remains to others, including Maclean and Taylor, sometimes shipping through the U.S. mail.
Taylor and Maclean then sold remains to others, including Pauley, the indictment says. Maclean allegedly stored some at her business in Peabody as well. Maclean's shop in Peabody had previously been searched by the FBI in March.
Lodge allegedly allowed Maclean, Taylor and others into the morgue to browse remains and decide what to purchase, the indictment said. A LinkedIn profile in his name says he has worked as the morgue manager for nearly 30 years. Harvard Medical School in a statement Wednesday said Lodge was fired on May 6.”
